Governance frameworks and AI use policies

Decisions with a paper trail. Policies live in people's heads, approvals happen in text threads, and nobody can show who decided what.

What we build

Written policies, approval flows, access controls, and audit trails that fit how the company works, including rules for how your team uses AI.

The two systems below, built for the founder's own two businesses, have these controls built in. Each point names where it runs.

Approvals
At Denali, lister accounts submit for approval instead of publishing directly. At ASaabForever, no price change goes out to eBay until someone approves it.
Access by role
At ASaabForever, each role (admin, manager, staff, warehouse, lister, accounting, reporting) sees the screens for its job.
Audit trail
At Denali, a change log answers the question of what changed the stock.
Safe changes
Both try changes on a staging copy first. At Denali, a production release takes a backup and checks the system's health before it is done.
Rules for AI
At Denali, every AI step runs on local models on its own hardware, and no item data goes to a cloud AI service. At ASaabForever, AI drafts go to a person for review.

Running in production

ASaabForever

Saab parts, sold on eBay and Shopify

One operations hub for stock, listing, orders, shipping and profit, with eBay and Shopify following it.

  • The AI that reads photos and drafts listings runs on local models on the business's own hardware, not a cloud AI service.

Disclosure: Drew Golub, the founder of Pinnacle Ethos, owns ASaabForever. We built this system for his own business.

Denali Liquidation Group

Commercial and industrial liquidation

One system that knows what the company owns, where it sits, what it cost, where it is listed and what it made.

  • Every AI step runs on local models on Denali's own hardware. No item data goes to a cloud AI service.

Disclosure: Drew Golub, the founder of Pinnacle Ethos, owns Denali Liquidation Group. We built this system for his own business.

Questions

What does a build cost?

Every build gets a fixed price in the written scope, before any work starts. You know the number and what it covers before you commit.

Who owns the code and the data?

Your data, accounts, and content belong to your company from day one. The systems we build for you come with a perpetual license to run and change them in your business. We keep ownership of what we build, so it cannot be resold or repackaged, and we never reuse your data. If you want a specific feature to be yours alone, we can price it as an exclusive feature. Your written scope spells out which is which.

What happens after launch?

30 days of support are included with every build. If you want ongoing help after that, we can keep going on a monthly basis.

Do we have to replace the tools we already use?

Usually not. Most builds connect to what you already run, like your storefront, accounting, and CRM, and replace only the parts that are holding you back.

Where are you based?

Columbus, Ohio. We work with founder-led companies anywhere, by video and on site when it helps.
